Account deletion
Last updated: September 25, 2026
This is an English translation of the Japanese アカウントの削除 page, provided for reference. The Japanese version is the original; if the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.
This page explains how to delete your account for “Greenery”, the app provided by My Evergreen LLC (My Evergreen合同会社), and the data tied to your account.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the Greenery app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Open “Settings” from the gear icon at the top right of the “Profile” tab.
- Tap “Delete account” at the bottom, then tap “Delete” on the confirmation screen.
From the moment you request deletion, you can no longer sign in to the account, and the plants, care records and comments you had made public are no longer shown to other users. The account and its data are deleted after 60 days have passed since your request (deletion runs once a day, so it is completed within a few days after the 60 days).
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot do this in the app, for example because you have deleted the app, send us the following through the inquiry form, writing “Account deletion” in your inquiry.
- The email address of the Google account or Apple account you used to sign in to Greenery (if you chose Apple’s “Hide My Email”, the forwarding address Apple issued)
- Your Greenery user name (the name starting with @), if you know it
To confirm your identity, we will contact you at the email address registered to the account. Once confirmed, we will proceed with the deletion. From that point, you can no longer sign in, and what you had made public is no longer shown to other users. The account and its data are deleted after 60 days have passed since we carry out the deletion procedure.
Data that is deleted
- The authentication information used to sign in (the link with your Google account or Apple account)
- Your profile (display name, user name, bio, profile image)
- Your plants, care records and photos
- Your comments, likes and stars on other users’ posts
- Your follow and follower relationships, notifications and push notification registrations
- The groups you own (which their members can then no longer use either), and your memberships in and invitations to groups
Deleted data cannot be restored.
Data kept after deletion
- The purchase history of the paid service (Greenery Club): kept for the periods required by laws and regulations, to fulfill accounting, tax and other legal obligations and to respond to disputes.
- Defect information and usage measurement information (Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase): deleted when the retention period of each service has passed.
- Backups and system logs: deleted when their normal operational retention periods have passed.
For details, see “10. Managing and Correcting Registered Information, and Deleting Your Account” in the Privacy Policy.
About subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel your Greenery Club subscription, and the App Store or Google Play keeps billing you. Cancel it in the store before deleting your account.
